Youth Ministries at Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church begin as young as pre-school and continue through the 12th grade. We encourage and welcome all guests and visitors to our programs!

Sunday School Curriculum:
Enduring Faith in a culture that is rapidly changing and, in many cases, changing in ways that are contrary to the teachings of the church, it's important that our children are armed with the Word of God. We are continuing with our use of the Concordia Publishing House curriculum "Enduring Faith." Our goal is to use the very best materials that are faithful to the scripture and Lutheran confessions.

Classes will have a core Bible study lesson along with activities such as games, crafts, or a snack to reinforce the lesson taught. Be sure to be on the lookout for a take home sheet so that you can discuss the lesson learned from your child. The teachers for our 6th, 7th & 8th grades use age-appropriate Bible based materials, promoting group discussion and encouraging young teens to closely examine scripture to see how God's word truly impacts their lives.

Lessons in connection with their confirmation study will also be used. Sr. High also uses various Bible study series that guide our high schoolers through the teenage years in a positive way. Many topics include what is current in their world and God's answer. We invite you to join us!

Memory Work:
Pre-School through 6th Grade - Memory Work Bible memorization, particularly for kids, can be difficult. The Bible is filled with big words and difficult concepts. But our memory work is geared toward each child's age. We also believe the Word of God is a potent weapon against sin. The Word of God, when memorized, is a strong influence for righteous living and for Godliness. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 4:12 that the Word of God is "living and active" which means that by memorizing it and taking it in and making it a part of ourselves it will, in turn, make us more like Christ.
