Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church exists to give glory to the Triune God, to grow in faith and knowledge of God's word, to serve God in our everyday lives, and to tell others the good news of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ.
As members of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, all youth are encouraged to be active in
the whole life of the congregation, not just "youth" activities. There are numerous ways to be
active: Acolyte, Sunday School Attendee, Vacation Bible Camp Staff Member, Bell Choir,
and Peer Group activities!
The purpose of our Sunday School (SS) program is to nurture the process of Christian
growth and development of those children and adults entrusted to our care. It is also our
objective to maintain an outreach and evangelism ministry into the surrounding communities,
by sharing the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ with all people. In addition to
our providing sound basic Christian education, Sunday School is also a very good
evangel-
ism tool in witnessing to our family, friends and neighbors. Our Lord, in one of his
com-
mands, tells us to "Go Teach". Therefore, we encourage our students to spread the Good News of Salvation and bring their un-churched friends to SS and church to learn about God.
Our adult choir sings each Sunday during the months of September through May and at
special services throughout the year. We also have a dedicated and talented bell choir that
plays during worship at one service each month. Both choirs perform music appropriate for
the church seasons that minister to the congregation and glorify God.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month.
