Rev. Richard (Rick) Boshoven was born and raised in Grand Rapids Michigan.  He graduated Central Michigan University in 1983 with a B.S. degree in Broadcasting and Cinematic arts. He worked two years in Radio and Television and then moved to Holland Michigan after he married his college sweetheart Christine (Chris) Christophersen. He worked 10 years for Continental Cablevision when his pastor suggested he attend Seminary and become a pastor.  In 1996 he sold his home and moved his family to St. Louis and in the year 2000 he graduated from Concordia Seminary. He was placed that summer at St. Michael Lutheran Church in Hebron Indiana, and after 10 years received a Call to Trinity memorial Lutheran Church in Merrillville Indiana, which he accepted and currently serves as sole pastor.     

 

Greetings from Christine!  As of October 1st, I became the newest member of the TMLC staff.  While I am not a member of this church, I do belong to another local Lutheran Church where I am the secretary for the Mother's Circle as well as a volunteer at the school's library.  I live in the area and enjoy the closeness of living in a small city.  I enjoy walking and biking and love having family nearby.  I am a fan of Purdue Univeristy where I studied Food Science.  After 15 years of a fast paced career, I am slowing things down a bit to enjoy more of life!  

 

 

 

Hi, I'm Lola.  After 25 years as secretary for TMLC, it is time for me to retire!  Im not sure what my plans are, but I'm sure it includes spending time with my husband, 4 children, 8 grandkids, and finding new hobbies to do.  I'll still be around when I'm not traveling, so please come and visit us at TMLC!

 

 

 

My name is Anna and I joined this church in 1985 as the Music Director.  I have a degree in Music from Indiana State University and a Master's degree in Voice from IU.   Currently teach music in the Gary elementary system and enjoy sharing my talents building an Adult Choir and Bell Choir at TMLC!   

 

 

 

Hi! My name is Nancy.  I’ve been a member at Trinity Memorial for 32 years, and have been involved with our Sunday School program for 25 of those years.  I began teaching with the 2^nd graders since I had children this age.  When my students began talking about toys I never heard of (since my own children were getting older) I moved up and taught the Junior High youth for many years.  I became the Sunday School director 13 years ago. I can truly say that working with young people of all ages and watching them grow in their faith and personal relationship with Jesus is one of my greatest joys. Their energy keeps me young! (at heart anyway).  If you’re looking for a church home with an active Sunday School and youth program-we have it!  Hope you’ll join us!  

 

My name is Kelly Conway.  I am married, and have been blessed with two children. I have been teaching Sunday school preschool since 2009 and have just joined the staff in August as Youth Director of both Jr. & Sr. High. I really love working with the Triniteens and being a part in helping them grow in their love for Christ.
