You can help the Youth Group at NO COST to you and help the environment at the same time by dropping off your cans at church every Sunday.  If you can crush the cans before dropping them off that would be greatly appreciated, but not necessary.  Every can counts so be CREATIVE.  Collect cans from home, work, neighbors, etc.  There will be trash cans outside the youth room that you may drop the cans into.  If they are full, please place them next to the trash cans.  We appreciate your support in this mission.

    Christmas caroling & Christmas youth party on Saturday, December 12th from approximately 3:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  We will either be singing carols at a nursing home or to members of our church.  Bring a gift (& don't spend more than $10 on it!) for a party gift exchange, a movie or game you enjoy, and a snack to share for the evening. 

     Christmas cookies are back!  We are proud to announce that we will be selling some of your favorite Christmas cookies for you this year.  Fill out the form (in the narthex at church) and return it with your payment (checks made out to TMLC) and return it to a youth member by December 13th.  If you are interested in a sampler platter they will have 3 of each type of cookies and the cost is $6.00 per platter.  The cookies will be ready for you after church on December 20th. 

    This year our youth are looking forward to a great opportunity.  Next summer 8 our or Triniteens youth will be attending the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans.  This is an experience that they will never forget, for they will have the opportunity to worship, commune, study God's word, socialize, help in serving the community of New Orleans, etc. with 25,000 other Missouri Synod Lutheran youth.  The theme of the gathering is "We Believe" and we will learn more about how we share our beliefs as we look, listen, and seek out God's calling for us.  Many of the youth who have gone in past years will tell you that going to the National Youth Gathering can be life changing!

    The cost for each attendee is approximately $1200 and we are trying to raise close to $1000 per person to help each family in making this trip a great experience for everyone.  We will continue to have fundraisers throughout the school year to help with this goal.  Talk to one of the youth about how you can help support this great opportunity.  Those who will be attending are Mathew, Daniel, Devin, Bianca, Alexandra, Samantha, Megan, Nicole, Cara and Chris.
