Pastor's Monthly Letter

January, 2015

It is the year 2015. We are living in the future now. Things like jet packs and teleporters are not quite science fiction anymore. We've been to the moon. And after a long hiatus, we are once again seriously talking about a manned mission to Mars. 3-D printing in almost every medium imaginable, will soon bring Star Trek like replicators into groundbreaking use. Currently we are able to "print" in plastics, metal, glass and even food. They are experimenting with printing human organs. According to one TED lecture, the only limitation to this is, again for the moment, is the size of the organ. As my son Aric explained to me, the possibilities are endless. Whatever you can make a 3-D model of is possible to print. So...what do you print? The possbilities are endless. If you need a widget for home, download it to your printer from Amazon. Need a new liver, print it out at the surgical center. As one
